1. Who is responsible for your data
Baquora Consultant S.A.P.I. de C.V. (“Baquora”, “we”, “our”) is a data analytics and growth consultancy based in Mexico, and is the party responsible for the personal data described in this notice.
This Privacy Notice explains what personal data we collect when you interact with our website baquora.com, why we collect it, who helps us process it, and the rights you have over it.
For any privacy question or request, you can reach us at contact@baquora.com.
2. What personal data we collect
2.1 Data you give us directly
- Contact form: first name, last name, email, company, website and the contents of the message you send us.
- Newsletter (Insights) form: your email, and — if you choose to share them — your first name, last name, company and website.
We only ask for information that is reasonably necessary to respond to you or to manage your subscription. We do not ask for sensitive personal data (such as health, beliefs or financial account data), so please don’t include it in your messages.
2.2 Data processed automatically
We do not run analytics on this site, so we do not track your browsing. The only automatic processing is limited and technical:
- When you submit a form, our server briefly uses your IP address to confirm the request comes from our own site and to apply basic anti-abuse rate limiting. This is used in the moment for security and is not stored to build a profile of you.
- Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs as part of operating and securing the website.
3. Why we use your data
We use your personal data to:
- Respond to your enquiries and follow up on project, partnership or general requests.
- Manage your newsletter subscription and send you the Insights emails you signed up for.
- Send operational emails, such as confirming we received your message or welcoming you after you subscribe.
- Keep basic customer-relationship records of the businesses and people who contact us.
- Keep the site secure, prevent abuse of our forms, and comply with applicable legal obligations.
We do not sell or rent your personal data, and we do not use it for behavioural advertising or automated decision-making that produces legal effects for you.
4. Service providers who process data for us
We rely on a small number of trusted providers that process personal data only on our behalf and under our instructions (they act as processors, not as independent owners of your data):
- HubSpot — our CRM. Stores your contact details and a record of your enquiry or subscription.
- Resend — our email delivery service. Sends our operational and newsletter emails.
- Netlify — our hosting provider. Serves this website and runs the functions that handle the forms.
We ask these providers to protect your data and to use it only for the purposes we specify.
5. Where your data is processed
The providers above are established in the United States, so handing your data to them involves processing outside Mexico. This is a transfer to providers acting on our behalf to deliver the service you asked for — not a sale or a discretionary disclosure to an independent third party for their own purposes.
Beyond these providers, we do not share your data with third parties, except where we are required to do so by law or where it is necessary to protect our rights.
6. Cookies and analytics
Baquora does not currently use analytics cookies, advertising trackers or other third-party tracking technologies on baquora.com, and the site does not set non-essential cookies.
If we add analytics or any cookie-based tools in the future, we will update this notice — and provide any choices or consent required by law — before we start using them.
7. How long we keep your data
We keep your personal data only for as long as it is needed for the purposes described above — for example, to respond to and follow up on your enquiry, to keep you subscribed until you choose to unsubscribe, and to meet legitimate business, accounting or legal requirements.
When your data is no longer needed, we delete it or anonymise it.
8. Your rights
Under Mexican data protection law you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Rectify it if it is inaccurate or incomplete.
- Cancel (delete) it where appropriate.
- Object to its processing for legitimate reasons.
These are known as your ARCO rights. You can also revoke consent you previously gave (for example, your newsletter subscription) and ask us to limit the use or disclosure of your data.
9. How to exercise your rights
To exercise any of these rights, email us at contact@baquora.com with enough detail for us to identify you and understand your request. For the newsletter specifically, you can also unsubscribe at any time using the link in any of our emails.
We will respond in line with applicable law. If you believe your request has not been handled properly, you may also contact the competent data protection authority in Mexico.
10. Changes to this Privacy Notice
We may update this notice from time to time. The “last updated” date below always indicates the current version, and we will take reasonable steps to make material changes visible.
